You know them, everybody does one of the tastiest EASIEST things you could ever make yourself, but do yourself a favor and make them even better.
Sub out an organic brown rice cereal like Erewhon Organic, use a tasty vegan marshmallow like Dandies, and sub out 1/3 of the butter for organic Palm Fruit Oil (straight from 'yours truly :-) and you've got an even healthier version of that tasty treat you grew up on...enjoy and stay tuned for freebie friday!

UPDATE

I was asked to update with a recipe here so enjoy!!

1 10 oz box Erewhon Organic Brown Rice Cereal
1 10 OZ  bag Dandies Vegan Marshmallows
4 tablespoons Organic Unsalted Butter
2 Tablespoons Organic Palm Fruit Oil

Butter a 9x9 inch square pan and line with parchement paper allowing a 1/2 inch overhang to allow for easier removal-butter the top of the parchment paper and set aside
In a medium saucepan put your butter and palm oil, Melt on low heat
Add your marshmallows and start to stir to coat
On low heat continue to stir (a wooden spoon works best here) and stir and stir and it'll look pretty strange but eventually you'll get a nice smooth consistency.
AS SOON AS YOU SEE IT'S ALMOST A HOMEOGENOUS MXTURE REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR UNTIL IT'S SMOOTH.IF YOU LEAVE IT ON THE HEAT TOO LONG YOUR TREATS WILL BE HARD AS A BRICK!! NO BUENO, LOL
Add your cereal stir to coat and immediately press into your prepared pan and allow to cool.
Once cooled unmold, cut and enjoy!!
