TAKE A GOOOD LOOK...

Yep, that's an ant and I hope this unfortunate little guy and his companions enjoyed themselves trying to get to this butter because for him, it wasn't a very healthy meal choice.
BUT many ants will be much more lucky and go on to invade your luscious organic unrefined shea butter. I remember several years ago, one of my customers emailed me about my packaging and thanked me for the polybagging because it had saved her butter from an invasion. I also had a customer saying a renegade squirrel got into her cocoa butter! And I have quite a few funny stories about animals and our products but the most about ANTS

ANTS LOVE THIS STUFF!
So I wanted to share this with you all because it's summer and summer means insects- particularly ants and they will (or give it that old college try for sure!)get into your shea butter.

So a few things to remember

IF POSSIBLE DON'T LEAVE YOUR BUTTER SITTING IN LOW OPEN PLACES (like your front porch, or your back porch, or your car porch, or in between your doors, etc)

If you won't be at home, try to get someone to grab your package if it'll be left in an open place.
Because we take care to pack your butters in the most secure way, if those little guys attempt it simply rinse your bag or container off- then inspect it for any remaining hijackers. Your yellow gold will still be secure and intact safe from butter- and invaders

WE SELL FRESH, ALL NATURAL PRODUCTS

...so it's only natural that just like any consumable the animals and insects would want to get their little appendages in. No chemicals, no crud, just the best of the best and we wouldn't have it any other way :-D
